Running out of space b/c ITunes
Hi, I'm new here, and not really a wiz. I use my PC ( HP pavilion) very much to store songs on ITunes, which I then load into an Ipod. I am on the road a lot so I totally live off that Ipod. I have a 160 GB Ipod, that I thought was the greatest thing ever; but when I defrag my PC I notice now that the free space on my C Drive is getting smaller and smaller. Am down to 20 % free space. Is there some simple way of storing all these tunes outside of the computer? Like an external hard drive? But I am always loading new CDs into Itunes, so therefore the Ipod needs to re-sync a lot. The tunes would have to be easily accessible at all times. What can I do?

Hi Chelsead,
Welcome to TechIMO.
I'm guessing your computer is a laptop? Because the easiest solution for a desktop would be to replace your hard drive with something bigger. For a laptop, I would suggest two things. For regular use, get a portable external drive (USB). They're a bit slower but it's portable so you can bring it with you. Second, I suggest you archive tunes you don't listen to much onto DVD media. Using four or five DVDs, you could take 20GB off your hard drive.
You do not want the available space on your hard drive to fall below 10%. So think about putting a bigger drive in your system long term.

Production IG is doing a new Ghost in the Shell series starting in June. It's a four episode OVA of the origin story of Section 9, and it's got all new voice actors. It's going to be strange hearing...
