Seagate Barracuda issues

I have a seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ( 400gig) 3.aae firmware. i came home the other day and turned on my computer and no power.

At first i thought it was the power supply so i switched it out. then on the 3rd power supply ( lol) I unplugged all my (periferals) and my computer powered up. plugged everything back in one by one and when i plugged the HD back in it wouldnt power up again.

I tried to get an enclousure for it but thats when i figured the hd was at fault. when i plugged it into the enclosure the enclosure wouldnt work. i disconnected it and the enclosure got power.

I have some stuff i would like to get off the Hd so does anyone know what i can do to get it working again.

Im going to pick up another Hd but i have an external one i can move the stuff i want to.

I've seen a couple of dead drives like that.... Some people have gone to great length and found an IDENTICAL drive and replaced the circut borad and have been sucessful.
