File Transfer
I have a usb pc to pc cable that allows easy file transfer from one computer to another. Originally I bought this cable as part of a product called PC-Linq. A program on a cd came with it. The program worked with Win XP but there appear to be no upgrades. I tried downloading some new drivers but they are for Vista and don't work with Windows 7.
Does any one know if there are there any new developments or products in this area?

New drivers for what? If you have access to a network (lan or wan) you can use the built in Windows Easy Share program to transfer file/s

If both computers are on the same network and can be "seen" by each other, just make the files accessible and copy them over.
Alternatively, you can use a service like Dropbox.Good job, friend-of-friends!

I have a Belkin Easy Transfer kit for Vista that didn't like Win 7 either... It's a pretty neat deal... You get a slit win explorer screen that shows both pcs....
Imagine a world where dogs took bad owners to the pound...

That's the way to do it. With two computers on the same router it was a "piece of cake" to set them up in a Homegroup. Then just drag and drop in Explorer.

I'll be flying today, on Sunday.
