Yes, if you get the 50 or 68 pin version, the 80 pin version will require an adapter. I bought an 80 pin SCSI drive, thought it was cheap and found out why, needed an adapter. Anyhoo, the quick answer is yes, if you get the right model.

The link you provided shows serveral different pin configurations. I believe the 68 pin version is a more current std. compared to the 50pin.
The 80pin is typically for connection to a SCSI backplane and frequently supports hot-swapping. Not something that the 2840uw normally supports IMO.

The 2940UWs I've seen do have both 50 and 68 pin connections, but to stay with the most current interface get the 68pin LVD/SE drives. This will pervent purchase of adapters if you have to update the card later.

Alright good. I was hoping these HD and the card were compatible, but was not sure. I was able to pick up the 68 pin version of this HD for $10, barely used, guaranteed not DOA off of ebay. There was only 2 minutes left when I bid so I figured id take a shot at it : )
Thanks guys!

Rick, you are not showing ALL the Processes. Click the button at the bottom of the Process tab, wait for the UAC & click OK. Your current list shows about 50 running processes (I counted, lol), but...
