*sigh* now that looks niiiiiiiiiiiice...make my hp 4x2x24 look like a great grandfather, mind you only had about 3 bad burns in 2 yrs and about 150 cds

Wow!!! I couldn't see anyone being disapointed with a 24x burner, who knows how well it would actually burn?
If I had that, I don't know how many cd's I would actually try at that speed.

I just swapped to a 40X from a failing 12X---its nice to burn a full disk in about 2½ mins but it hasnt changed my life all that much---
Whats good about that machine to me is the re-write speed--- 24X would be nice...

Are they selling any 24x rewriteable CDs to go with the drive? I mean, what's the use if you can't buy the discs?
