Even though it's obvious you're downloading a pirated copy of bambi 2, i'm gonna answer your question about buring .img files. Just rename the .img file to .iso and Nero will burn it.
Watch your door tho, the MPAA is coming........

thanks, but the bambi is a mpeg4 avi, seems to be high def too. great pic. I dont understand why when it was ripped to an avi, that it needs to be translated to something else before it can be a dvd again. I would think that what ever ripped it would also burn it back to dvd when making a copy. but so far ever thing ive read says it has to be translated from avi to be able to then burn. which im sure im losing resolution because the avi gets smaller. ?? Im just learning but we do own bambi 2, as well. but with all the copy protection on it, makes it hard to make a copy for the kids to tear up. Ill try renaming the other one and see if it burns then. |

Hi guys,
I found this thread, and this forum via a google search, and decided to join as it looks good.
Anyway my contribution to this thread is to suggest Winrar, the zip utility.
I had an .img file that is meant to be a DVD movie (4.35 gb) and I had some of the problems listed by others when using nero (unrecognised format, then asking you to put in exactly what bitrate etc) so I just right clicked and 'opened with' Winrar and it gives you the Audio_ts and Video_ts folders which you just extract and then burn as a dvd video in nero.
This also works for .iso files.
Someone also told me you can just rename a .img file to .iso and then it works, but never tried it myself.
Anyway hope that helps someone.
I'm off to browse that 5000+ page thread I saw mentioned earlier, that should kill a few years

Thanks for the info on ImgBurn I tried WinIso and nero to no avail, WinIso said the file was corrupt?? but obviously not as it's just burnt with ImgBurn 1st time without any problems, and nero didn't have the option of burning a .IMG file, so my advice ppl, ImgBurn.. Great Forum btw. |
