I'll keep the count going in 2007...
I changed the .img file to a .iso and burned it with Nero Burning ROM. I had to select the UDF compilation option by pressing F7 because the file was too big for ISO, but that was it. Burns nice an quick like this too.
Long live the thread... |

Wow, second spot in google.
This was fun to read. It's like one of those time capsules. In 20 years, when people use lol like duh and cars run on alcohol, I have hope that someone will still wonder how to burn an IMG file into "those pesky CD thingies" and run into this thread. It will be the lulz.
I used imgBurn and it works like a charm. Thanks y'all! |

I was reading this ancient thread as well and noticed that nobody put what I find to be the easiest way.
Just change the .img extension in the name to .iso and burn with nero.
example: filename.img to filename.iso
works for me |

depends what your image file is...
if it's an .iso file.. then just rename it from .img to .iso and try re-burning it...
i had a similar problem a few weeks back.. but just out of curiosity i changed the name and it worked perfect... (lol... didn't even know there was a thread on this...)
