Yep, either try changing it to an .iso or use Deamon-Tools to mount it. I mount IMG files all the time with DT and have no issues. Though with DT you do have to force it to see .IMG's, it doesn't by default, but still mounts them fine.

hooda74,
Did you try finalizing the CD-RW? This should make the files "stick".
Thx a lot guys, DVD-Decrypt worked like a charm.
Long live the Thread! |

Happy October!
ok i tried changing the .img to .iso and burning with nero and that works fine too. i personally prefer the dvd decryptor method, but try the other way if you dont want to download kinda illegal software |

I have perhaps an older version of alex fineman's iso recorder, which i have used on isos but which did not see the img file. i downloaded imgburn, which worked great on burning my .img file to cd. Thanks to all of you! |

I was just having a problem burning an .img to a cd... sure enough I come across this thread on google (5 th Spot).
I used DVD Decrpter and it seems to have worked. So 7 years after the OP, this thread still contains valid information. No necro posting by existing members needed :P
Thanks guys,
- R
PS: DvD Decrypter was *so* simple to use. |

| HELP
My friend burned a game for me, a .sub and .img file, but It does not read on the disk. The disk is not re-writeable, is that a problem? It wont read or play at all, it does not say there are any files on my disk, and it says there are 0 bytes on it. help... T.T |
