New partition Do I just drag and drop?

I am going to do my partitioning that I have been putting off. Can I just cut and paste stuff into the new partitions?

And I want Win 2K in the first partition, so do I just make it small say 2G and then drag the rest of the stuff out of it?

It should work that way. It is simialar to running to HDs and that is what you do when you have them set up. At least I have.
