Add a second hard drive?

My HP pavilion 8533z is about 4 years old. I am wondering if I can add a second hard drive to it. Currently, it has 4 IDE devices: one HD, one ZIP, one cd-rom, and one cdr.

COuld I install another IDE hard drive?

Thanks!

You would have to add an IDE controller card

I'm not sure about this model, but most HP & Compaq's use terribly small Power Supplies, like 140 watt.

Adding more IDE devices is a sure way to have severe problems.

I think the Pavilion 8533z comes with a 160W power supply.
I do have a 250W extra PSU, but since the orginal 160W one is still working, I am lazy to replace the old power supply.
