Stalls when formatting disk on 40%
yep, my laptop, which is a dell c600 stalls at 40% when formatting the hd. this happens every time. What do i do?

Did you scan your disk and fix the errors incase there are some?
You might have some bad sectors.

Give it a try anyway.
