CD RW Question

I just bought an Acer, USB CD-RW burner and it seems to be working fine. The software that came with it is PrimoCD Plus, from Prassi Europe. It seems to do what I need and is simple to operate.
My question is, sine this is a rewritable device and I have rewritable CDs, how do you go about erasing the CD ?
Or is it that you can merely write over what is already there.
I wrote 2 different files during 2 different sessions, and they are both on the CD.
So, how would I go about removing one of the files ?

CDRW acts just like a floppy or hard drive. Simply select the file/folder and hit delete or right click and hit delete.
