floppy alternative
I was browsing Monarch Computers and ran into a neat idea that I haven't seen before for people who don't what to quite give up there floppy but can also make use of the bay.Mitsumi Floppy 7-in-1 USB card reader / smart media Beige

It's an interesting find, but I still don't have a floppy in my PC. I would rather use the bay for something more useful, like a rheobus or front USB ports so I could connect DiskOnKey's and the like. I'm pretty much set on getting either a USB2 DiskOnKey or that 256mb Lexar USB2 flash stick, so I can plug it in at my school without having to resort to brittle, slow floppies.

I think I've seen these in Tiger Direct catalogs...can't remember the price though.
