Slow ejecting tray on Lite-On burner

I have a Lite-On LTR52246 52x24x52 burner. When I eject the tray it seems to eject super slow. Also does it when it retracts too. Anyone else have this problem?? Is this something I should worry about??

Well, how slow is how slow? Lite-On's aren't the fastest ejecting drives on the planet, so maybe if you gave us a ballpark speed, that would help.

Maybe you can get a spedometer or the things police use, and tell us in MPH.

It's normal...it sure makes them seem cheap though.

Mine are on the slow side also. They start out fast then slow down. I kind of prefer the slower eject.

I just got a new 52x Burner and it starts ejecting fast then gets slower. It must be with the newer drives that it ejects slower. I know my 12x sony burner ejected fast as lightning and didn't slow down!

Well my Lite-On DVD tray ejects like it is going to fly out of the drive. The burner comes out slow and get slower. The sound is almost like it is struggling to eject. Like something is holding it back. That is the best I can describe it w/o actually timing it to the millisecond.
