format volume ntfs w/specific cluster size
i know you can do this AFTER installing WinXP through a command prompt but what about before?
Win9x-XP MS startup disks format FAT32.
i have not built me rig yet but i was told the SI3112a chipset does not format the volume, only create the array and stripe set.
also if it has to be done after the os is installed is it just booting to a DOS promt and running the switch
FORMAT C: /A:16384
lastly-- anyone have feedback about a 16k block(stripe) matched with a 16k cluster size? in XP (gaming and web/print design stuff)

One of my favorite authors, Vince Flynn, (who also happens to be a local guy) passed away from prostate cancer at 47. Good writer whose stories will be missed!
