Quick question
Does anyone know the technical name for the wire connection for a laptop hard drive. ( I know that I want a cable that goes from the laptop hard drive to an IDE port). Second, does anyone have the web site for a place that would sell something to convert a lap top hard drive to IDE cable ready?

I would call it an IDE ribbon/cable.
Laptop hard drive adapter (converts 44-pin to 40-pin for use in desktop)
