I don't know about the rest of you, but I find the "Would you like to request a read receipt for this message?" window that pops up everytime you send a PM to be kind of annoying.
Personally, I don't use them. I think it would be better if it was an option, like below the message field that you could select or deselect at your own leisure.
What do you think?

I agree .. its annoying.
I prefer the old style where you could check if your message was read or not through using the Tracking option without any popup box. |

Very annoying. Even more annoying is the one that asks you to accept the other person's read recipt. | |

Agreed - put it on the kill list.
I asked that read-receipts be turned off by default some time back before the migration to the newer style forum. I think they're rude and I apologize to anyone that received one from me.

| Read receipts are now disabled.
This took some considerable work to implement, as we have multiple usersgroups due to how vB3 handles account promotions. BTW, before anyone asks, there is no in between option for vB3. I can not bring back message tracking without also enabling the annoying popups.
