    Trader's Forum Complaint

     
    Hi.


    I've got a gripe about the Traders Forum: Buy, Sell, Trade forum...why on earth is it located on ResellerRatings and not here? Most of the traffic on RR is simply looking for deals and feedback ratings on actual online companies.

    The Traders Forum needs to be located here on TechIMO where it would actually be put to good use.

    What do you guys think?

    There would definitely be more selling/trading done because the sales would show up in the recent discussions area. Aside from last night when I actually posted an item for sale, I haven't looked at the Trader's forum area in a looooong time because it never actually shows up here on TechIMO.

    Who knows what the reason was? Probably because RR is a site for getting product and TechIMO is a site for getting help. You know, just a guess.

    Good guess, but why even have the link here if the actual forum isn't located here? I call that misrepresentation...I know, I know, it says "at RR"...but still, it would be much better off here and we all know it.

    I think I'm one of a small handful of people who actually frequents RR, IMO it seems kind of dead and doesn't attract enough of an audience to warrant selling a whole lot on there. It seems it is always the same 10-15 people trading, buying and selling.

    Something like that would be great with a small 1 line recent discussions across the top of the page(underneath the main recent discussions) or on the bottom of the pages.

    I did see that the main Techimo page has a mixed recent discussions box which is nice, but I'd personally like to see something on every forum page.

    I agree, when i first started here at Tech IMO it was here and i did ALOT more deals and there was ALOT more trading/selling/buying as well...


    i think it needs to be put back at tech IMO ... as a Tech IMO Forum not a RR forum...

    I also put a post up over at RR because the "recent discussion" box dissapeared and now you have to navigate your way to the "For Sale/ Trade" forum ...

    seriously. moving it to here would mean two places that need extra modding.......you gotta admit that where money is involved then there will be people who will attempt to abuse the systems in place in order to make money at someone elses expense. seems like keepin it all in one place at RR makes for easier modding/regulation......
