Pretty much! Either that, or instead of typing replies like they are text messenging each other, the squabbling would be well thought out and understandable by all. the only plausible way would be to use the birthday that the user selects when creating an account, but that doesnt really verify it.. of course, if you keep it secret, people wouldnt know about it and would have less of a chance of them lying to get into it...

Well if you click to enter you just lie to them and they don't care really. If they require a CC they use the above method of checking with the CC DB to see if the card holder's birthday is >= 18. If a kid gets a hold of their parents card its worthless anyways.

yeah....seriously....adult topics? like what do you mean exactly...? politics? economy? etc? u can have that anyways...i doubt the kiddies would care to mess with it...and if they do....we have phenious...i hear hes skilled in the use of the banhammer....making an exclusive club type thing just to keep those "pesky kids" out is kind of something that would make me question who the immature ones are.....not to say anyone is immature here...just saying...

a "you can come in our clubhouse!! blech!!" kind of slam the door in the face, of the youths here is more childish than their possible immature responses to serious topics.
