I'm a million percent agreed, yet still part of the problem. Took six months here to visit a community thread now I can't stay away.
Oh, add religion too.size=1 rocks

Wouldn't that make it grind to a halt? There wouldn't be any talking going on.
I actually don't know anything about this since I usually miss everything in the community forum. I tend to just hang out in the car talk thread and the recent discussions box lol.

It's hard, I lose more monitors to the community forum than lightning, rock 'n' roll and porn combined.

It's too bad some people feel the community forum is their personal soap box.

Just dont open the threads that deal with polotical stuff. You can pretty much guess what a thread is about by the creator or the title.
Plus what will i have to laugh at if we get rid of some of the wonderful replies to some of those threads

What if you have, what I like to call, an Unexpected Thread?
It says something like, "Happy Time Piggy Fantasy!"
And you go on and WHAM! There's a political debate! This is a +10 Post of Awesomeness. It is impervious to rebuttal, factual inaccuracies, and logical inconsistencies. Opinions expressed are 100% truth.

September 28th, 2005, 08:12 AM #9But then people who read the title will post immediately about Happy Time Piggy Fantasy (

They won't post immediately about Happy Time Piggy Fantasy. They'll be attracted to the first post but it will take a couple of posts for discussion to veer off course.

like this?
Thread - "Man eaten by alligators trying to love sheep"
next poster - "Ha that's what you get godless heathen"
conspiracy theorist poster - "JFK planted alligators there to kill the sodimites"
good ol boy - "CLintOn NamED Teh ShEEpz MONIKKA"
someone else - "Well Bush paid Canada to orchestrate Sept 11th"
Then all of the sudden you're not making fun of a guy killed by alligators any longer.size=1 rocks

September 28th, 2005, 04:57 PM #12as a rule i don't open them, and if I do I don't bother replying as the posters of theses threads will not be swayed from there position anyway.

It just seems like we have lost some good members due to the heated discussions on those topics, and other percieved slieghts. I don't expect my suggestion to really even be considered, just an observation.

I can still remember days past Watch Monsters University Online And the sad thing is, Don was actually acting out for the right reasons this time. Ted has it in his head the Don is set on besting...
