    Thread State

What are the opinions on allowing members to add a Solved tag to threads? Perhaps from a drop down menu or something similar? It would be helpful to see which 'cases' are solved at a quick glance while searching or browsing through the forum.

    Regards,
    Amr.

I wouldnt mind it but heck. People never come back to say "Thanks its fixed" a lot. (not always) So i think it would be a time & Effort vs. the ammount actually used. Cool idea though.

Plus I think it would be time saving. One could find threads that actually led to success instead of going through 10 threads where everything was left open ended and you have no idea if the tips helped or worked

It might also put less load on the server, since people might be able to find what they are looking for faster, and hence put less strain through searches?

That's a shame, well it was just an idea, I think I saw it some smaller forums.

I agree...I like the idea as well....unfortunately, practicality and benefit vs. expense must be considered! Anyways...yes...i support the idea as well...but meh...not my decision (and since i'm not coding it, and i'm not payin for it...I guess that's how it should be lol)
