Ha, ha, ha !
We sem to have ended up with a typos n' grammer n' speling thread.
In this regard, I wish to note that my SleePn'POST software, which is FREE for $69.98 in Shipping and Handling, is now available in an Upgrade to accomodate VISTA and other 64-bit OS'es, called
SleePn'POST Professional Sleeper
While it will no longer be FREE, it will sell at a modest $69.98 --BUT --the S&H is FREE !
PS It comes with a choice of two(2) PlugINZ, including SpelWrite, TypoCommanDO, & AuntieGrammerian. Err..ThanX

On te subject of VISTA,
the Thread Title VISTA is getting POULER,
this is an obvious Typo.
Did you mean VISTA is Getting Poorer or
VISTA is Getting POULTRY
As for VISTA, most of the aricles or letters I've read about it in Computer Mags are unethusiastic --to put a positive "spin" on their discussions of it.
I haven't tried it in BETA, --and I should note that I am not a 'Early Adopter" when it comes to Tech and especialy Computer stuff-- is that the M$ "push" for it emphasis on the time it will save.
However, there is an initial investment of time in 'switching over' from XP, inevitable tweaks and bugs in the early months.
(Remember that XP went through two Service Packs and that Windowk 2000Pro went through FOUR Service Packs !)
Then there is the 'Learning Curve' just to achieve the familiarity of the OS left behind.
Personally, unless there is a very compelling reason to switch at first Official Release, why not wait until there is a compelling reason ?
Like a Killer App that will run only in VISTA. To me, trasparent Windows won't cut it.
Of course some HW and SW will require at least Tweaks and probably updates and tweaks, and maybe even more $$$ for Upgraded SW and maybe even HW.
I figure VISTA Service Pack2 will probably be about the time to consider switching to VISTA.
But, then, Hay ! Lotsa people have Funn with the "new stuff" and more power to them !
Best wishes to all,
