Thumbnail quoted images?

The title basically says it all.

Is it possible for quotes images to be thumbnailed? It's sort of annoying when you've got multiple people quoting someone who posted a large image and having to scroll past the same thing many times. It would be nice to have it resized to a default of 100x100 if it's larger than that.

That would be nice. Would definitely save on load time, too.

I'd also like to know if there's a way for the forum to limit hotlinked image size. I know attachment size is limited...but it would be nice to see inter-thread pictures limited too.

Unfortunately vB does not provide this kind of functionality and it wouldn't be a "quick" think to code up.

I've seen some forums where only the first 250 or so characters of a quote is posted - unforunatelty I can't remember where it was.
