chocolate chip COOKIES
Is there some kind of randomness to the length that TIMO's cookies last, or is it a problem I'm having all of a sudden. It seems that if I shut down my browser, I have to re-log in everytime I restart the browser.
Did something get changed? I never had this problem before. I liked the fact that I could run for weeks without having to worry about logging back into the site. I'm in and out of it so often it has become a nuisance. I'd like to see this either addressed or explained.
Forgive me if it's been brought up before somewhere else, I hadn't noticed anyone complaining.this post contains small bits of intelligence culminating to the appearance of wisdom.

Mine started doing the same thing a few days ago, and I haven't changed any settings except to check the remember password box AGAIN and it still randomly forgets my password.
I know Firefox is forgetting, and I think Opera is also.Last edited by stroyal; September 16th, 2006 at 05:03 PM.

same thing here. I check the "remember me" box, and I have to log in almost everytime. Not always though, so I don't know if this is a browser problem or if it's a cookie problem. I just want to figure it out and get it solved.
I use Firefox, and this only started happening since the upgrades.this post contains small bits of intelligence culminating to the appearance of wisdom.

Does it to me too. Except it does it in the RR section. Every time. Every time I check the box and every time I have to log in. Only place I have the problem.

I just checked again Firefox makes me log on every time, and opera doesn't, and I checked the box.

No you just think you have to log on

Skip it and go into a forum... you'll see you are logged on.
(btw I logged on a few times before I decided to just look before I got ticked and popped a cork)

That must be why there are only 32 members online and over 1000 guests. everyone is using Firefox.

Well, I cleared my cookies and it seems that I'm back and running with firefox. Must have been a conflict with the old cookie ?
