Why was my thread closed???
I posted a thread on a compaq ml350 server in the storage section. I received no responses so I posted it also in the technical issues area. Today I find my storage are thread is closed after 2 days. Why? The topic/question was appropriate to both sections. I didn't see anything wrong with posting the same topic twice.

TechIMO does not endorse posting the same thread to multiple forums, as it can confuse the technical support process. However, if you would ever like to have a thread moved to a forum better aligned with the posted topic, then feel free to contact a forum moderator.
