    BB. code ?

This is not a suggestion but I don't know which forum to use.
I'm trying to edit my signature and " BB. code is too big" keeps coming up.
What is the BB code? I've tried different font sizes but that doesn't do anything & I know I don't have too many characters/words/lines. At least I don't think I do.
Help please because I'm bored with my sig.

BB codes add towards your signaure character limit. You currently have:

[FONT=Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif][SIZE=2][COLOR=#000000][COLOR=#000000][FONT=Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]"The end move in politics is always to pick up a gun." --- [B]R. Buckminster Fuller[/B][/FONT][/COLOR][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

    Quite long. Compare:

"The end move in politics is always to pick up a gun." --- [B]R. Buckminster Fuller[/B]

Thanks Rob. I kind of understand, can be pretty dome about the code sort of thing. I'm sure I copy & pasted the B. Fuller quote.
What I want to copy & paste now is "In many ways, rats and mice get greater protection as research subjects in the United States than do humans."
U of PA, with whatever font at size 2. Is this just too long? Anyway I can make it viable?

    Your desired signature should fit.

Curious, are you using Internet Explorer? If so, it can copy-and-paste formatting as well when using a "WYSIWYG"-style form field on a web page. Make sure you are only copying the raw text. For a quick fix, copy the text first to Notepad, then copy it to the signature form field.

%@#!^& I'm using FF & yes I copy & pasted to notepad then to sig box as I did before. Now it's telling me "...too many lines...3 line limit", well I only have 3 lines!!
What a bloody bore...guess I'll just live with Buckey for the rest of my days

    Wonder who fixed it?

When you add a long line it will make a few [returns] so that may be why.

Testing the Dungeon font. Can you see it too?

    Testing the rage italic font

How may fonts does this site support anyway?

I actually type all the Vb code by hand. The basic layout shows up quicker too.
