Techimo's IP address???

Okay, I always use 69.93.248.139 to access the site. Now enter that into your browser and see where it takes you. http://main.techimo.com/blog/ WTF?

Is there a DNS poison or something? I have showIP as a Firefox add on and it says 69.93.248.139 and no other. Also the whois. http://whois.domaintools.com/69.93.248.139

Shared server??

FQDN still works fine, and techimo.com still resolves as 69.93.248.139, but IP goes to some other site titled W Revenue which seems to be hosted on the TIMo server (like main.techimo.com/blog or something). WRevenue looks a bit like a marketing blog - Scott's??

Mick thinks Scott has stuffed something up there...

Cheers
Mick

I just did some packet amylases and it looks like Techimo's IP of 69.93.248.139 goes to the IP of 69.93.248.134. Hmmm

In the packet summaries I deleted my local host name. The ips are when you first go to the home page. My browser cache is clear, host's are clear and IPconfig /flushdns was done.

Oh, and it seems W Revenue is not yet ready for the real wolrd if these links give any indication...

So I think Scott is still tweaking this one... he'll fix it eventually no doubt... as long as the FQDN still works we should be good to go.

Cheers
Mick

I noticed they didn't work either. I can't believe that this site's IP would resolve to that address.

It's on the same server, so it;s just a matter of what the first index.htm page your browser comes to is I think. Just a glitch...

I guess main.techimo would be it. Funny I noticed it doesn't have to go out on a DNS to look it up. I saw no DNS lookup in the sniffer.

Edit, oops, forgot I was using the direct IP address.

I can see why now. Good info on his blog. I failed to realize it indeed was the owner of this site.

Looks like it can't find the images directory when you enter by IP currently. That should be easy to fix, though...

Cheers
