I know primarily we are a computer tech forum, but I've noticed an interesting trend here and perhaps we should capitalize on it. A lot of us are interested in or have problems regarding our vehicles. About every week or so someone pops up with a car issue, and there's always Rob's Fast Lane Daily threads and the Car Talk thread.
Isn't it high time we give vehicles their own sub-forum?
Heck, with all the electronic components in modern cars, they pretty much are computers anyways, so why shouldn't we help solve those problems.

I second that notion, but only because I'm a huge automotive fan
However, I can see a dedicated automotive section being added onto an already large site bringing in a lot more traffic. It still is technology and almost everyone at some point has car trouble.

And then, we'll have to add a forum for:
Medical Issues
Marital Issues
Pet Issues
Money Issues
Global Warming Issues
I hate my next door neighbor issues
etc etc bla bla bla

if you have a specific model car there is probably already a forum created for that car with people who are "experts" with that specific model and who can offer great insight into problems, etc. I see automotive threads occasionally here and I dont see it as a bad thing, but if your having specific issues you would like to know more about, join a forum full of users who share the same (if not similar vehicle) Like Steve R Jones mentioned, it would end up..... ...... .......
