| I want to stay logged into Techimo, even when I leave site or close IE
For some reason, Techimo automatically logs me out if I haven't been active after about an hour, even though I still have the Techimo site loaded. Or if I close my IE windows I am autimatically logged out and have to re-enter my login credentials even after just 10 seconds. Does Techimo site not use cookies to store login information? I can, for instance, log into another popular BB and stay logged in for days on end, even if I turn off my computer. This is very convenient, especially as a user who hits this site every day and sometimes multiple times each day. Am I missing something at the login prompt or can this be implemented? |

Hmm I haven't noticed that here, I can close IE and it will still keep me logged in unless I clean out my cookies. I have my machine to always accept cookies for this site and also have this site as a trusted site as well.
Might be something with the way your machine is handleing cookides.
Edit for clarification: I can close IE and reboot the next morning and come to timo and post replys without having to log in again, it keeps me logged in unless of course i delete my cookies. |

wyvrn, I've noticed sometimes that even while surfing my cookie will be reset and I've had to re-login a few times... but in general I don't have any problems at all. I rarely have to login (unless of course the cookie resets as mentioned above) do you have an application that automatically deletes cookies occasionally? Maybe a no-ads type software? That may do it...
I use opera 95% of the time for surfing. |

In addition to cookies, there are two other settings that I can think of in the user control panel.
* Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)
* Browse board with cookies?
... both are located in user cp>edit options |
