You want to take, say the Most Active section and do some sort of Vote? What purpose would it serve?

No, just a link dump. Not a most active or a Frequently used links, A link dump. Just what people are looking at and doing right now..... Kind of like Digg I guess but sparse, quick loading in a single side box about the size of "Recent Discussions". I suppose if it gets popular, it could be expanded. Just the link and a short description. Probably with the option to turn it on/off.

I'm thinking this would go well with the sites expanding interests (blogs, etc).

The video threads are popular but after they get so big, I just stop going, only occassionally posting a vid. This would allow people to post stories, vids, whatever, allowing people a simple yay/nay vote on it maybe?
