Most active discussions box is getting pretty big...
Is the one managing this site even looking at how it is setup?

You've got a box 2x as long as the two other sections and another box that is completely empty.
Just get rid of the news and articles part and split the active discussions into two sections if you want that many."The problem with quotations on the internet is that the sources are hard to verify" - Abraham Lincoln

It looks fine to me on XP and IE7.

What browser?
The news/article column could be removed due to inactivity, but as far as the table width, it formats properly for me using IE7, Mozilla Minefield 3.6a1pre, and Opera 10a.

Both IE7 and FF3
Also, when I checked it in IE7, I couldn't help but notice how terrible the ads are as a guest..."The problem with quotations on the internet is that the sources are hard to verify" - Abraham Lincoln

Formats appropriately for me in IE7, and Minefield 3.6a1pre should render HTML about the same as Firefox 3. Curious, are you using any content filtering?

This is after you click the little button to move the box to the top as well...as it is in the first image if you didn't look yet.

Filtering in FF, yes, but not in IE.

Your screenshot is cut off below the table.
The way your initial inquiry is worded, it makes it seem like you are stating the table is wider than other page content, thus blowing out the page format.

I said the active discussions box is 2x as long as the other boxes and you've got one completely empty, so if you want to display that many you should get rid of the empty one and shift it all over to have room.

It looks like they missed your point EX.
I always thougt it was strange that there was an empty box on the right, the Recent Discussions box is only half full, and the Most Active Discussions box is dang near overflowing and stuffed over on the left.Unofficial TechIMO record holder for the number of times being added and removed from beemer's ignore list.

Been that way for several months on my end.
Either display 1360x768 or 1400 X 900(lappy). Both OS Win XP Pro and IE7. I just ignore it.

Most Active is 13 rows x 1 column and Recent Discussion is 6 rows x 2 columns with 6-7 empty rows below them. I think EX is suggesting that both are made to be 6 rows x 2 columns & lose the empty News box.

I see the recent and most active boxes on the right side at those resolutions
