true, but I've found that add on to cause a bunch of lag/slow load times etc, when browsing a lot, once disabled my issues with slow site load times, and other lag annoyances, seems to be reduced immensely.

So did I but at the top where it says search type in the type of smiley you want say fire or water and it will show a list. Click on one and it will preview it at the bottom.

I just can't figure out how to get them into a post.

For the smiley xtra thing?
At the top of the smiley column, click on the smiley. Go to options. Change from "last known text box" to "copy to clip board"
Then right click the smiley you want, click "insert smiley" then ctrl+v or right click and paste.
That's the best way I found to do it.
