For the smiley xtra thing?
At the top of the smiley column, click on the smiley. Go to options. Change from "last known text box" to "copy to clip board"
Then right click the smiley you want, click "insert smiley" then ctrl+v or right click and paste.
That's the best way I found to do it.  |
