    Very slow loading topics

This has been annoying me for a very long time, topics load extremely slowly. The first post will show and then it takes about 10 seconds for the rest of the page to load.

No problems for me at work or at home. Is it just one location you are having trouble at?

No, it has been like this for a long time everywhere. IE8 seems faster, but still somewhat slow.

Same device at all locations? I run IE7 here at work and it's pretty quick, same with IE8 at home.

DNS issue, perhaps? Tried clearing your DNS cache?

    ipconfig.exe /flushdns

Any content filtering? If so, and especially if you are doing it via a custom HOSTS file, it could be an ad or similar is not loading and stalling the page load.

Blocking pagead.googlesyndication.com seems to have fixed the issue. Loads immediately now.
