An Aussie page
I'd dig to be able to post stuff in an Aussie dedicated page and to get answers from Australians who can better resolve Aussie problems.
edit,.,ps,,I don't mean that only Australians can answer a messageLast edited by frozzo; November 30th, 2010 at 02:37 PM.

Why? We don't have a UK only Section, or a Canadian Only Section, or any other dedicated section to an English Speaking country, or any other Language/Culture, why would they put a Dedicated Aussie Section?
We already have several Aussie members that post here, Mickwish is one, and I know there's a few others.
Besides, how can Aussies better resolve Aussie problems unless its a Specific Australian related problem.
How ever most PC Tech related problems are relatively Universal, and really only major problems tend to be language barrier issues.i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

Agreed, about the only advice that won't be universal is shopping advice and which shops or on-line e-tailers would be the best place for Aussie's to shop.

I am talking about regional issues, being answered by local people. For example,I posted a message about HD content on Australian TV and didn't get any replies from Aussies. If it was easily directed to an Aussie headed page I reckon that this would be beneficial. As would be the same for other regions or countries.
A Tivo forum has a dedicated Aus/NZ site which makes this type of thing very useful and I don't think that you can argue against this.

We have members from the Australia but not a large enough population to make a whole new forum for them. We have members from all over the world and to compare TiVO which has millions of paying customers is a poor argue as our forum is based around two different things. Tivo's forum is mainly for customer support and for customers to communicate with each other. This is a technology forum with no focal point on one certain type of technology.
Curious dont you think your HD complaint would have been better on the Tivo forum in the Aus/NZ area than putting it here?

If you had bumped it few times, maybe one of our Aussie members would have seen it.
All the members are not on all the time.
The subject in general, is close to outside the forums scope, if you posted it in, and about a specific state, in the US, I bet the response would be slow also.
Besides, If you get an Aussie forum, I want a New Hampshire Forum, for NH specific computer problems.

Well if you get a New Hampsire Forum, I'll want one for my County in my State... Some one else would want one for their town, and another might want one for their household... At some point we'd all have our own dedicated sections for ourselves so we can answer our own problems...

Joking aside, GZ pretty much nailed it down.i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green
