I was wondering if you guys could please fix the timezone settings so we can select "AUTOMATICALLY DETECT DST SETTINGS" in our control panel??

Its an hour fast and it really doesnt have to be if the proper maintenence is performed

I have my right timezone selected and when i choose AUTO DETECT,its an hour fast.....

    Please fix the issue

    Thank you

Initially though it was a SPAM thread, as I could only seeGZ's post, then realised it was one of your threads.... (Ignore lists FTW!!)

Dude - just go into the UserCP here and adjust your time... Mine and most everyone else don't have this problem... If they adjust the site for you - the rest of us will be off by an hour

I put it to OFF and hit SAVE then went back to the page and put it back to AUTO and its keeping the OFF settings now when before it wasnt.... This is very strange.... (Years ago we didnt have to do this, vbb sites worked correctly and auto adjusted the time on thier own if auto was selected)

I travel so much I don't pay much attention to the clock anyway. 90% of the time it doesn't match the time zone I'm in.

Thats why Windows has a built in clock in the system tray, and why people have actual clocks & watches in real life.

But Time is working right and correctly on my end, has never waivered since, well... can't remember actually.

Must be doing something wrong on your end then.

lol Maybe you're going crazy or someone is trying to pull one over on you.

I'm usually a Nazi about the time too since I collect watches but I couldn't give a crap less about what time the forum said it was (I mean... does it matter?). Even if I did it is actually working correctly on my end.

Why doesn't the forum detect what time zone I'm in and adjust it for me automatically? Right now it says it's 6:08 pm, but it's really 8:08 pm.

Why doesn't the forum detect the right minute of each hour for me?

Right now its 7:36PM (According to windows System tray which is synchronized to time.nist.gov) and the Forum is saying its 7:35PM
