User CP and Private messages don't work
I'm using Firefox 12 and all of a sudden the user control panel and the private messaging buttons don't work.
Edit- Now it's working.
Does anyone else notice that the fonts for the recent discussions and most active discussions seems off?Last edited by Taxmancometh; June 4th, 2012 at 10:10 PM.

I'm getting all sorts of bugs as well, New Posts Link doesn't work...
Clicking the link for this thread from the main forums listings (most recent posting/thread listed in each subsection), doesn't work...
when clicking the thread link, it told me it didn't exist, clicking new posts link from the top bar gives an elongated listing of the main page, but no new posts listings.
Oddly, right clicking new posts and opening in a new tab resolves it.i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

add to that the forums have been loading pages slow again, little circular icon in the left corner of the tabs for the page keeps "loading" for a good 10-15 seconds after the page is loaded.

Whatever it is I didn't do it this time!! I think they are working something, hopefully a fix for that bad script that was messing with the drop down menus.
The slow page loads, or continued loading circle is due to that same issue, its a google api or something and it's a PITA.Last edited by RicheemxX; June 4th, 2012 at 10:44 PM.

Another thing that just happened was that I couldn't log in. It took three attempts.

the slow loading I have been getting for the past week now. It cleared up for a short while after the last bout with it, and now its been back for the last 5 or so days at least.

These same bugs have been happening on Safari as well.

Safari, Firefox (12), Chrome all exhibit similar problems on my end.

The slow page load was happening with all three browsers on my computers: FireFox, Chrome and Internet Exploder....
That suggests (as mentioned by RicheemxX above) the issue is site-side, his comment was that it is with a script/API that isn't playing nicely...I've seen the light... It was green, flashy and attached to a Network Interface Card...Whenever someone says "You can't miss it", I invariably do...

Yeah, that one particular issue is related to one API, that is a known problem. The problems you guys are experiencing now is most likely unrelated. It could be someone tinkering, making updates or changes or something else might be bonkered.

One thing I've noticed today that is different to previous (was different to yesterday) is that the "Recent Discussions" box area looks......well, as if it is still stuck in the Noughties....
Can't think of how best to explain it, just looks less "finished" than it usually does...I've seen the light... It was green, flashy and attached to a Network Interface Card...Whenever someone says "You can't miss it", I invariably do...

From a quick look around the forum, including the broken links and text formatting issues, I am thinking it might be related to a particular script. I have filed an error report. Hopefully Scott or one of the dev team guys will have it soon resolved.

Thanks Rob for looking into this, as it is really frustrating to use the site as it is with the way things are working. Have to click on every subsection to dig through for new posts, and can't use New Posts link, or click the most recent active thread for the sections. Though the Recent Threads/Postings links on the right do seem to work properly.

Funny, I didn't see Techimo asking for help in the Tech Support section!
What's up with that?

The site is leaving out the /forum directory on some pages when going to links
www.techimo.com/usercp.php
Instead of

User CP and New Posts have been working intermittently today. At least for me. It seems that when I first open TechIMO, user CP and New Posts do not work, but after navigating the site for a bit, they start to work.

I notice that in order to log in I actually have to browse into a thread topic then log in otherwise it doesn't work.

Exactly as the site when viewing just "www.techimo.com" is leaving the /forum/ directory off ALMOST ALL LINKS..
