On most forums they got a 60 seconds rule to prevent spamming, but it doesnt just prevent spamming but also double posting by accident, i just pressed twice and got my reply up twice.
Now you could just put in a 15 secs rule which would prevent people from posting twice by accident.

60 Minutes? So you would have to wait an hour to post again? Ouch, remind me to steer clear of those sites! |

I agree to that cunokyle, that would just about ruin the site IMO.
Tho double posting isn't bad, free extra post just by accident.

I don't think of it as much of an issue, but it does work well. Maybe it's worth a try to have a 15 sec post rule? |

Yeah, I would not have a problem with a 15 second rule, I can't imagine posting more than 1 time in 15 seconds anyway! |

It doesnt harm, it will only prevent people by double posting by accident, sure it aint a big deal but, if you can prevent it then why not.
Its just a simple option in the admin panel anyway |

bahhhh, I didn't see that part of your post, editing so quickly before the last edited post on blah blah blah.
That's another effect that would be marked out.
as for 60-minutes to 60-seconds, what's hard to understand, would you want to wait that long just to reply back, your post will go wait around elsewhere till you can reply back, I don't think anyone here would want that? |
