What is the world coming to? People who want to enlarge their avatars? And not to mention all the spam...just last night I got this email with the subject: "Enlarge your avatar now! 40 to 60 pixels guaranteed!"
It's a sad, sad, world.
(Sorry I didn't mean to thread-crap) |

Well, I could see increasing the physical size a little (say 75x75) but I don't think the software size should be increased. Even if it doesn't take that long to load on a 56K, it's still just that much more load on the server.
I'd rather see the little black dots come back than have larger avatars. (I'm sure Skuz would agree with me on this. ) |

The size doesn't bother me that much, but yeah, i often find something that I'd like for an avatar that won't quite work right with it being so small...
I DO like coming on the boards and seeing everyone's unique Avatar though... It just gives it a nice feel. I don't like sigs, but avatars are great. It kind of gives the people you're typing to a personality or image to go with. |

I think the current size is perfect.
I don't want to check the avatars details, I want to read the posts. |

I wouldn't mind seeing the 10k limit upped to 12k. But I think the current size of the avatars is just fine. |

There are other places to hang out that use 128x128 avatars, like www.worth1000.com But they are an artistic/graphic oriented site, so it makes sense. |

i'm with out. i think 64 is good, but i think just a very small bump in file size. seeing that we cant and probably will never reach a middle ground, it will probably stay the same |

64x64 is just fine...it's the filesize that needs to be increased...15-20k seems more reasonable.

I'm with sixf00t,and OuT the file size could be a bit larger, the size isn't an issue.
And it is a little bit of a wait in a long page for us dialuppers, but ya get used to it.
