| Well, I ran out of spam the other day. I am currently trying to rebuild my reserves. As far as sneakernetting, it turns out my data transfer device is on the fritz! ANOTHER STUPID THING IN THE WAY OF F@H!
Anyways, Since my iPod is dying a slow and painful death, Ill need to round up an old flash drive now. I was so confused as to why all data I transferred with it got corrupted. It started with big files, but has tricked down to teh small. I wonder what Google can help me do to fix this . . .

| Hi all.
So is anyone else having problems with the SMP client?
My dually box is saying fewer then 2 cores are detected, and it will not run the SMP anymore..
It was working great lastnight, now all of a sudden it doesn't want to work. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and still no joy.
I checked the BIOS to make sure both core are enabled, and of course they are..
So what gives? Anyone? |

| Not here lately. I am trying to increase my oc from the gigabyte mobo DS3L but it seems like 372x9=3348 is going to be the max for this mobo/chip/ram combo. The Abit EP35E got a little bit more that is also okay for me.
KK is this your new q6600 box which you have just built? If it is , is it possible that the flaws / flaky settings on the mobo is finally showing. As far as the smp client, no problem for now.

| Nope. This is my older E6320 system that ran folding for a couple months fine before I got the Quad.
I turned it back down to stock from the OC I had, just to make sure that wasn't it. Still, the problem persists.
I'm kind of wondering if I didn't kill a core somehow. But really, I wouldn't know how I did that. It's been OC'd, but it was set to 3.2, which I had it stable on the same setup @3.4Ghz. V-core was never over 1.45 on it, so I'm pretty sure that's not it.
Also, the temps lately have been great, nothing more then 50c°.
See why I'm confused?

See why I'm confused? | If you fried the cpu that would be a first in a long, long time. Most of the time the mobo would go out first before the cpu. Best way to check is to do it the hard way. Swap good cpu to the maybe bad cpu and try to eliminate it. Might take you a while but at least you would know which one went bad. For all we know one of the memory chips went bad. |
