McCain Suggests Parliament-Style Sessions

If elected, John McCain suggests taking a cue from the British parliamentary process by the President holding question-and-answer sessions with Congress.

Quote:
McCain said exchanges such as those in the British House of Commons are a way of holding leaders accountable.

I though press conferences were supposed to be q and a sessions? I remember Kennedy's weekly press conferences.

Under Bush the press conferences hit a new low -- in frequency and format. Bush get's the questions in advance.

I hate that loaded questions bs.... How many of these goombas can have an actual thought anymore... hell, I'll even spring for an original but ignorant thought.

I m pretty sure that all three of the candidates that are left have been busted on that already....

Because that's how British Parliament usually works. Random politicians continuously harass the Prime Minister as he talks.

Somebody opined today on one of the talking-head shows that McCain wouldn't last 11 minutes. He'd either cuss someone out, punch someone, or just walk out, lol.

He ought to take a day out of his campaign and go up to Congress and have him a Q/A session. I'm
sure the Democrats would to have him. But , I bet cha, he doesn't have the nads for that.
