Question
UDRAM and SDRAM (SAME or NOT?)

im just starting learning in troubleshooting im upgrading my 128mb memory card into 512mb. my problem is that when i looked at in the slot it labeled UDRAM. whats UDRAM actually? im searching it on the web on found no answer inly SDRAM always appear in my search.

my memory card has a specs of KVR133X64C3/128 3.3v and as i search for for this on the net i found out that this is a 128 MB PC133 SDRAM (KVR133X64C3/128).

is UDRAM and SDRAM the same?

From what I have seen on the 'net, it seems that UDRAM was used on older P2 systems. It is a different type of memory than SDRAM. From what I can gather, SDRAM modules will work in UDRAM slots, but they are a bit longer and the locking tabs at the ends of the slots don't latch correctly.
