AVP2 was good but I think that RTCW and Max Payne were better games!
Diablo II wasn't even in the RPG category! WTF

Diablo II also wasn't in the game of the year category but Serious Sam was!

i think that rtcw and max payne came out too late in the year to be considered seriously for 2001.

Max Payne has been out for a while already, as for RTCW I also think it came out to late in 2001 to be considered.

The only category that Max Payne would fit into IMHO is of best graphics.

The game itself gets boring really fast IMO.

Every level the same kinda guys, only more.

Graphics are awesome tho.

Diablo II should be in Platform fgames or RPG, and it is a good candidate.

I agree that Diablo2: LOD should be on the list. Keep in mind that Diablo 2 the game itself didn't come out in 2001.

max payne should be entered into something like coolest concept of the year for the bullet time thing. that's just a neat wrinkle in gaming.
