my bro sent me this.
didn't have the heart (or the time b4 windows crashed on me) to tell him it was probably another fake. unless anyone knows better. he thinks it looks cool. i'm not too persuaded by it if it is real, though.

no, but he believes in it. if you look at the design, then it can't lie flat.

Couple reasons why thats fake... (so you can tell your brother)

1. Surely the PS3 will have a sony badge on it like the previous PS's
2. That thing wouldn't be very stable at all standing up like that, and it wouldn't be able to be layed flat due to the design...
3. Also i think sony will have a different style logo for the PS3, not just the PS2 logo changed to a 3...

And don't you think they'd try changing the controller design a little bit........ I mean, I love a playstation controller..... but a fw extra well placed buttons would be nice..... especially as the yare satrting to make games where the honestly could use them. And besides, what console manufacturer has every truly been able to stay loyal to a peripheral design.

atari joysticks and paddles?
i remember seeing an early x-box prototype which was a big chrome x. they had it running at a computer show. it looked cool, but a bit impractical. although the final design was huge and impractical. even if this pic was a concept prototype, it would still change massively through to production.

i remember browsing one day and i found many many "prototypes" of "PS3's"....although this one is 1 out of 100 or so .....and im pretty sure tht this will not be the next ps3....here is another prototype:

*also, the next "ps3" is going to have an internal hard drive and you could also update your games ....adn burn dvd's <--- at least i think u can....try searching googl for more info...
