A little off topic, I just thought of a cool slogen for AMD "Thats fast! Thats Amazing! Thats AMD!"
But any way has NVidia even realesed the specs? I guess that was a little soon, but I love what I see! The GF4 looks like a clear winner, and hopefully will drive the prices on the GF3 down so mortals such as I can afford it! |

I am with you Bob the Great that is exactly what I am hoping. I am looking to upgrade this summer probably around May or June and I hope the GeForce 3 Ti 500's are priced about what the Ti 200's are right now.
Here is what I am looking at right now: (Probably)
Abit KR7A Motherboard
AMD Athlon XP 1700+
512 MB PC2100 DDR RAM
PNY GeForce 3 Ti 200 Video Card
I want to see what I can get all that for in May or June. I am thinking by then the XP 2000+ will be about the same price as the 1700+ is BONUS! I am just wondering where RAM prices will be. On the Motherboard end will they have a new chipset out by then that adds some new features I may be interested in? Who knows? Right now the extra memory bandwidth that the KT266A chipset provides AMD processors is what has me fired up about a new system. I wil just have to wait and see. |

Yea...I hope ATI has something planned to counter it...I would hate for prices to go too high if they don't.

This was bound to happen, as I just bought the GF3 Ti-500 last week.
Start looking for DDR to start running at 600Mhz....I just got mine up to 300. |
