I have just upgraded my firewall to Zone Alarms v3.0 and I can tell you that I am already very impressed. It includes the facility to stop those annoying pop up ads, and also to screen unwanted ad cookies, whilst letting through the useful ones like those that allow me to return to this site without logging in!
The previous version saved me from a number of nasty things that my virus protection let through. This one looks like a great leap forward.
Any views on this, or on firewalls in general?
