Windows Vista demonstration
http://news.com.com/1606-2_3-6018907.html?tag=ne.vid
A demonstration of the new Windows Vista...it looks good..some of the features sound pretty neat too...like the tool bar application preview thing. I can imagine that this thing will take up huge amounts of sytem resources.

I don't get it, everybody is complaining about memory hogging and unneeded resources and whatnot, but with all these new processors coming out and getting so cheap now what's there to really complain about?
I think it looks awesome, that 3D program browsing is really nice and I like the new darker theme they are using. Good job microsoft, I might actually BUY one of your products for once! (just kidding)

Its the enthusiasts, overclockers, and tweakers that are going to have something to "complain" about... for the average user, or even the average gamer, these kinda "resource hogs" aren't going to phase them the slightest; but for that select (ok, maybe not so select anymore) niche that wants every ounce of what they paid for, that's who's gonna care... These are the people who typically already have all (or the majority) of Win XPs enhanced UI features disabled and have spent a significant time "optimizing" their environment .
