The new system, compatible with Cray SV1e™ and Cray SV1ex™ supercomputers, includes a 224-gigabyte Solid State Disk (SSD) with a data transfer rate of 80 gigabytes per second-800 or more times faster than the 10- to 100-megabytes/second speeds typical with today's disk servers.

I want one. No idea what I'd actually do with data transfers like that but I want one anyway. |

I'd use it as my FTP server, that is if there's bandwidth that could keep up with it! I seem to need my files wherever I go

How about a Cray SX-6. With peak performance around 6 teraflops that should crunch Eccp rather efficiently.
