Over the past few years OCZ has proven itself to be a company that has a tremendous impact on the PC Enthusiast market segment by offering cutting-edge products that provide best of class performance and technology. It’s no wonder then how a company like OCZ can offer its latest 1010-watt power supply at pricing that’s ultra competitive and offers excellent power for just about any hardware scenario you can throw its way.

1KW could soon be a reality for high-end desktops. Two quad-core processors, multiple video cards, multiple drives, etc.

With that said, I suggest anyone actually needing a 1KW PSU to look towards PC Power and Cooling instead.

Nowadays thats not as ludicrous as it once was...
The ridiculous power needed for some of the current video cards alone make it feasible to look at higher wattage PSU's
Is it often that someone needs such high capabilities from their power supply?
NO...
Does it happen?
YES...
