LOL, can't say I didn't see that coming

For awhile I've been wondering if either nVidia or Intel would gobble them up & integrate their tech into their products down the road. seeing as how AMD is really in no shape to aquire another company, after the whole ATI fiasco.

It's funny though, ATI has plans to move to building their own Physix type chip and integrate it so maybe we will see a better ATI card from it. Not that i would wish death on ATI, i just don't see how they can hold up strong much longer the way they are going.

Eitherway, this is a strong move for Nvidia and great for us as I expect that sometime next year we will see the first integrated board unless its more of a seemless transition from their project chip then i hope.

If I remember right Nvidia was working on their own way of integrating physics processing with their GPU's, but with this purchase, hopefully we won't see any major problems of combining their tech with the recently purchased tech, as we saw with the Geforce FX series after they bought out 3DFX.
