    Intel introduces distributed computing to Facebook

     
    From Ars Technica:

    Intel has set up a Facebook page designed to induce casual users to sign up for a distributed computing project that runs on the BOINC client system. Now Facebook users can crunch away on any of three DC projects while playing Mafia Wars.
